Russia’s July investment in US Treasuries flat at $5.87 bln
WASHINGTON, Sep 17 (PRIME) -- Russia’s investment in the U.S. treasury bonds remained flat at U.S. $5.87 billion in July, as seen by PRIME in the data of the U.S. Department of the Treasury late on Wednesday.
Of the total, $3.178 billion are short-term bonds and $2.7 billion are long-term bonds.
Japan remained the largest U.S. bondholder with $1.293 trillion, China was the second with $1.073 trillion.
